Can we live forever?

Will it be possible to live forever?

We would all love to live longer. Everyone wants to live forever, nobody wants to die fast or young.. but is it possible to live forever? The answer is no. Why? Because we live in this earth only for temporarily. We die, sooner or later. The only question is when will we die, only God knows when will we die.

Example Jeanne Calment, she died in the age of 122 years and 164 days, she’s one of the top 10 oldest people in this world but you can see that even though her age was above 100, however she died when the time came. Another example such as Carrie C. White, she died in the age of 116 years and 88 days.

So we can conclude that it’s impossible to live forever, it’s just our own imagination. Beyond our imagination. Even the top 10 oldest people in the world ended up dying. No one live forever in this earth, just like as I said before “we live in this world just for temporarily”. All we can do is wait, wait for the fate to come.

Essay: Will there still be schools and teachers in the future?

Scientists predicted that in 40 years there will be no schools nor teachers. They claimed that in the society of the future both schools and teachers will cease to exist due to the advancement of technology, we won't need to attend school because we could study at our own home using a computer interface that allow us to chat with our classmates and be thought by a virtual teachers from a program. This kind of system is definitely applicable, however whether it has more benefits or more drawback than the ordinary school system is highly questionable.

On one hand, The scientists are confident the students will be able to study much more effectively with the virtual school system. The students won't need to travel to their schools anymore and waste lots of energy in the process. Studying from home will most likely be more comfortable, the students will have more time to spend with their family daily and won't go through a tough schedule. The virtual teachers itself will be much more intelligent and could teach with the most suitable ways for the students. Furthermore, the cost of education will decrease because there are no school buildings and highly educated teachers.

On the other hand, lots of people doubts the virtual system will be effective and artificial intelligence could replace a human being as a teacher. In the virtual system the students won't have a great social interaction ability because they study individually. In addition, directly chatting with classmates are much better and the competition between students wouldn't have disappear in the normal school.The human teacher would be able to understand the students better because humans have feelings while programs or computers doesn't.

In conclusion, there will still be schools and teachers in the future. Although virtual studying is possible it simply couldn't replace the ordinary school system. Students will be best at school with their friends and real teachers. Artificial intelligence could probably teach in different ways but the human ways of teaching are irreplaceable.

The purpose of this report is to find out what Labschool Kebayoran's students do after school. I've interviewed 20 students in Labschool Kebayoran to get the information. I asked about what they usually do after school, stay late at school, go home, or go to another places.

Fifty percents said that they usually stay late at school because they prefer to hang around with friends. It's a usual result regarding so many things we can do around Labschool Kebayoran. Students can go to the foods and drinks stores nearby or just having a free time inside school that much interesting rather than go home directly. Because just twenty percents of them that go home directly.

The rest of them are going to another places. Sometimes they go to shopping center or go to the places for taking after school lesson. So most of Labschol Kebayoran's students prefer stay late at school than go home directly or go to another places. Don't be surprised if there's so many students in Labschool Kebayoran after school.

The aim of this report is to show what activity teenagers in Indonesia do in their free time. I have interviewed some of my friends. I asked what they usually do in their free time in weekdays and weekends.

In weekdays, more than fifty percent of them watch TV or use the internet in their free time. The rest of them usually read books or sleep. They do different thing in their free time in weekends. Some of them go shopping and hang out with their friends, or just go to their friend’s house. But most of them just stay at home, watch television or use the computer and internet.

This is not surprising because we know that teenagers like to hang out with their friend and spend time together or stay at home and relax to take a break from the tiring school days.

The aim of this report is to see which city does most of Indonesian citizen visit during their summer holiday, national holiday, and etc. I have interviewed more than 10 people. I asked which city do they often visit during their holiday.

Almost fifty percent of Indonesian citizen especially Jakarta often visit Bandung to spend their holiday with their family and friends. More than ten percent of Indonesian people spend their summer holiday at Bali with their friends or family. Meanwhile the rest of them usually stay at home with their family.

It’s not surprising that most of Indonesian citizen especially Jakarta people spend their holiday at Bandung, we all know that the distance between Jakarta and Bandung is not that far (2 hours trip by using car) and it’s not surprising that more than ten percent of Indonesian citizen often visit Bali, since Bali is so popular these days not only for Indonesian people but also foreigners. So it’s not that obvious if most of them choose Bandung or Bali as their favorite place to visit to spend their holiday.

The goal of this report is to clarify which type of cuisine the students of Labsky fancy most. I've interviewed all forty people in X-D excluding myself to gather the data presented below. The questions I asked them is mainly regarding which culture's food is their favorite and the reason they enjoyed it.

An enormous percentage of students choose western foods especially american and italian cuisine. Almost all said the reason was because its tastiness and richness of spices. Over a quarter pick Indonesian traditional foods such as fried rice, rendang, soto, and satay. The rest prefer Japanese and Indian cuisine mostly ramen noodle and curry. For the beverage an immense group select Ice tea while the rest are mineral water and soda drinks.

It is now clear that the students in X-D like western cuisine the most. While it wasn't unexpected it is regretful that only twenty-five percent favor Indonesian cuisine. A majority said other cuisines are more delicious. Although they're fond of various type of cuisine there are no doubt that they all agree that they love sambal.

The purpose of this report is to show what sport is most liked in Indonesia. The information in this report is based on an interview conducted by the writer, towards forty people in his class. The interview included questions about their favorite sport, why they play it, and their knowledge about the sport.

A little over half of the people interviewed answered football as their favorite sport. They also provided information regarding their knowlege of the sport, which means they are very fond of the sport. The rest of the people interviewed prefered American football to football. Nobody interviewed answered they did not like sports.

It is very surprising that almost half of the people interviewed said that American football is their favorite sport, although most of the people in Indonesia have not even heard of the sport. It is also interesting that there are no other sports that the people interviewed favor other than American football and football.
